Grief is not Immune to the Pandemic

While COVID-19 has radically transformed everyone’s lives, this has already happened for our families. Children who have experienced the death of a loved one are facing even more challenges today. Grieving in a safe and healthy manner is crucial for children’s mental health.

Seasons Centre is dedicated to continue providing support for grieving families in our community. But now, more than ever, we need YOUR help to continue peer support groups safely and free of charge. Please DONATE today.

In response to numbers increasing in our community and having our participants, volunteers, and staff’s utmost safety in mind, we will be discontinuing our in-person programming for the foreseeable future and will begin offering our groups virtually effective immediately.

We will ensure child/teen participants have their group activity material at home, so we can work through activities together during virtual groups. We will have a curb side pickup option for activity supplies and if you are unable to pick up, we will make a concerted effort to deliver them to you whenever possible.

Grief is not immune to the pandemic. Grief never stops.

Seasons Centre does not receive government funding, nor do we charge a fee for our services. We rely on the generosity of our community. Every dollar helps.

Please see below a breakdown of how your gift will impact the children and families we serve:

$1200 supports a child in our program for an entire year
$600 supports a child in our program for 6 months
$125 provides reusable masks for a participant group
$50 provides sanitizer and cleaning supplies
$25 provides snacks for all participants for one group night
$15 provides art supplies for one evening of groups

Let’s take care of each other. Thank you for helping us continue healing hearts with hope.
