“In the past I have consulted with Seasons Centre to support students’ who have lost a parent.   With the support of staff from the Seasons Centre, we met with all the staff that were working with the students’ to help us understand some of the behavioural challenges that they were experiencing and what strategies would be appropriate for the situation.

As someone who works with children, I appreciate any help available when supporting a student who is going through such a traumatic experience. I myself lost my father when I was three years old and I think it would have been very comforting to be able to connect with other children who were going through something similar.”
