Community Support
Providing Vital Support in Times of Crisis
Critical Incident Stress Information Sessions (CISIS)
What We Offer
Support Sessions for Children and Teens
We offer one or two support sessions specifically for children or adolescents who have experienced a critical incident involving a death. These sessions are tailored to address the unique emotional and psychological needs of young individuals during such traumatic events.
Education on Responses to Critical Incidents
Our sessions include education on the physical and psychological responses to a critical occurrence. Understanding these responses helps individuals and families make sense of their experiences and begin the process of healing.
Supportive Measures
We provide supportive measures to help individuals manage their reactions and cope with the aftermath of a critical incident. These measures are designed to offer immediate relief and guidance during a time of heightened stress.
Referral Resources
For ongoing needs, we offer referrals to additional resources and services. This ensures that individuals and families have access to the continued support they may require beyond the initial sessions.
How to Request a Session
We are here to provide the support and resources necessary to help your community navigate through challenging times.
Our Critical Incident Stress Information Sessions are available upon request from groups of parents, organizations, agencies, or schools. If you are in need of support following a critical incident, please reach out to us to arrange a session.
