We are excited to announce that thanks to a number of generous supporters were able to burn the remaining mortgage at Seasons Centre!
Brick by brick donations are helping children wherever their grief support is needed. Together we are building hope beyond our walls by providing Seasons Centre’s Community Grief Outreach Program across the Simcoe Muskoka Region.
Children are often the hidden mourners in our society. Approximately 1 in 14 children will experience the death of a significant family member before they are 18 years old. And we estimate that 10,000 children in our region are missing out on Seasons Centre’s support.

About Our Co-Chairs
We are grateful to Steven Barendregt and Walter Cardiff for being Seasons Centre’s Brick by Brick Campaign Co-Chairs.
With a long history of leading and supporting Seasons Centre, Steven and Walter each served on the Board of Directors as President, among other roles. Steven and Walter were instrumental in purchasing (38 McDonald St. Barrie) Seasons Centre’s home in 2003. They worked with the support of many community businesses and individuals, establishing a “brick” campaign to “build” Seasons Centre.
Fast forward to 2021 and the Brick by Brick Campaign is reborn, with the goal of eliminating the remaining mortgage, we will build beyond the walls of the Centre and give hope to children and families grieving in our communities.
They did it again, successfully achieving our goal – well done to our champions Steven and Walter!
