Volunteers are the Essence of Seasons Centre

Volunteer

“The smallest gesture is worth more than the grandest intention”
Oscar Wilde
At Seasons Centre for Grieving Children, volunteers generously give their time and skills to make an important difference in the life of a child or teen who is grieving the death or impending death of an immediate family member. Most, but not all, of our volunteers have experienced grief as children or adults. However, they all are caring individuals who understand the importance of providing support to grieving children, teens, and their caregivers.

When you volunteer, it benefits Seasons Centre as well as our community. It can also benefit you, the volunteer, in many ways:

  • Develop new skills or enhance existing ones.
  • Connect with your community and make new friends.
  • Explore career interests and complete Community Service Hours.
  • Set a positive example and inspire change.
We could not do the work that we do without the time, effort, and support of our volunteers. We are so fortunate to have more than 100 volunteers who work with us.
