Program Update

As you are aware, Simcoe County has moved into the Orange phase of the COVID-19 Response Framework. In response to numbers increasing in our community and having our participants, volunteers, and staff’s utmost safety in mind, we will be discontinuing our in-person programming for the foreseeable future and will begin offering our groups virtually effective immediately.

Group schedule will remain the same and groups will continue to meet twice monthly, at the same time as we have been meeting in person at Liberty North.

Going forward, we will ensure child/teen participants have their group activity material at home, so we can work through activities together during the virtual group. We will have a curb side pickup option for activity supplies and if you are unable to pick up, we will make a concerted effort to deliver them to you whenever possible.

Our participants will be sent a Zoom link the day of group to access your meeting. Please let our Program Staff know if you have any limitations in terms of technology and we will do our best to work together to find a solution.

Our hope is to keep our groups intact for the remainder of the season; to continue to develop the supportive relationships and trust that have formed thus far in our groups.

If you, or someone you know are looking for support following the death of a loved one, please contact Danielle Coates at [email protected] to schedule a virtual intake.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we navigate our way through these unprecedented times.
