Equine Assisted Grief Workshop – Teens

We have 2 Equine Assisted Grief Workshops Available for children/teens who have had a parent, sibling, or extended family member who has died

July 10th – July 12th
for 8 – 12 year olds

August 7th – 9th
for 13 – 16 year olds

Workshops are 10:00am – 4:00pm located at Sierrah Acres – Line 4 North, Oro Medonde

The equine assisted workshops will focus on the 4 tasks of grieving the death of a loved one:

i. Understanding the reality of loss
ii. Experiencing the pain or emotional aspects of loss
iii. Adjusting to an environment in which their loved one is no longer alive
iv. Relocating the person within one’s life and finding ways to memorialize the person
